In the end, the logic of nature endures. Knowing this, we start at the beginning, on a neolithic iSite, with ZERO CARBON CREDITS.

Moondance

Seek out 20 acres on a mountain ridge with a 300 year old growth forest, panoramic views of the San Juans, plenty of fresh air, fresh rainwater, organic food chain, edible forest and no light pollution.

Plan to be completely viable using rainwater, alternate energy, and permacultured woodlands; a perennial cycle of events as old as humanity. Enjoy economic security and many friends with microcommerce.

Access a guild of stewards; they are advocates for forest, farm and stewardship planning, keys in sustainable forestry practices. They integrate human beings into the woodland that supports them.

Create structures that will last hundreds of years, with lofty ceilings, view windows, unique finishes and floor plans that make sense. Have a garden roof for food, flowers, social gatherings, woodland and sky viewing.

Embed these dwellings in the living matrix of Puget Sound, scoured out long ago by the last ice age, forming a symbiosis long dormant in contemporary society.

Observe the continuous, enthralling life of your biosphere pulsing in the background; navigate this forest reserve day or night, rain or shine, naked and barefoot (trails are very ergonomic).

Have cutting edge IT systems installed for your insular, ancient keep and be 15 minutes from the ferry.

Woodland Family Farms, on 5 acres or more, are having a very strong underground ripple effect in singlefamily. Design opens up capabilities for owners to engage in microcommerce; wineries, distilleries, breweries, woodcrafting, foodcrafting, gardening, bed and breakfasts and animal husbandry are all impacting gateway communities in a very positive way. People will live off the grid and have profitable relationships with friends and neighbors, developing strong ties to their iSites and iStructures while creating jobs and wealth.

We have located a perfect iSite candidate on Orcas Island, a community already committed to microcommerce. 'Moondance' will be the progenitor for all iSites.

A biosphere is an iSite when certain characteristics are observed:

  • Minimal carbon footprint 5 Acre minimum
  • Ergonomic future ADA compliancy possible
  • Healthy aquifer Showcase NW features
  • Interactive on every level Permaculture possible
  • Alternate energy friendly Sacred spaces occur

Masterplanning design creates tailored systems where owners control basics to perpetually sustain life, including microcommerce.

Woodland Family Farms designed for microcommerce will completely alter the way people view the place they live. These iSites and iStructures are viable, interactive and create wealth. This product is not 'a house'.

You will not find anything like our Woodland Family Farm for sale. We have spent 20 years in research and development to absorb this concept; now it is completely defined and the time is right for release into the residential mainstream.

Woodland Family Farms on iSites have:

  • Clean air Clean water Clean power
  • Organic food chain No light pollution Highend IT

Woodland Family Farms are crafted, by design, to make money using microcommerce. Some possibilities are:

  • Agro tourism Shop made products
  • Animal husbandry Social gatherings
  • Agro learning centers Woodcrafting range
  • Wineries Breweries
  • Distilleries Bed and Breakfasts
  • Woodland Inns Retreat variations
  • Day care Farming

We believe people are ready for this family concept; they have been waiting for the opportunity to connect to the Earth in a way that has not been offered in mainstream real estate.

It is propitious that we live in Puget Sound, between 2 mountain ranges; the lands have exciting views, aspects, terrain and uncommon phenomena.

We organize latent site anomalies in ways to suggest emblematic themes; site and structure will morph into signature patterns evolving into strong relationships within the biosphere.

Well planned lanes and trails reveal the strong character of the finished site; unless you have walked in an open elder forest without light pollution, the romantic mystery and beauty of mooncast shadows is unknown to you. In the daytime an open forest canopy lets in sunlight to dapple the mossy floor. We observe, study and configure our sites so a distinct character emerges; every site is different.

Concealed in the chaotic rumble of an overgrown forest lies a deeper, hidden identity, waiting to be revealed. Moonshadow Ventures techniques will be a template for integrating singlefamily dwellings into Forest Resource sites.

Our product is a complex of disciplines, skills and knowledge that cannot easily be mimicked. With 20 years of research behind us, we formulate from a past rich in diverse and meaningful building and design experiences.

Dwellings designed and built by us are imaginative, techno-laden structures that use commercial crossover methods and materials learned from decades of development. We are driven to nest our clients in ways that create symbiotic relationships within the biosphere.

Dragonpearl

Forest Cluster

Dragonpearl is inspired by the logic of ancient Asian forest temples and is imbued with Asiatic ethos. Geomancic engineering allows our obedient Dragon to eat the pearly moon once a year. This event may be seen from the dining room by numerous guests, and takes about 45 minutes. With Mount Rainier in the background, it is an auspicious event, creating a celestial continuity.

High Barbaree

Corsair Stronghold

There are properties around Puget Sound that have stunning 360 degree views of the San Juans, Mount Baker, Mount Rainier, the Olympics and the Cascades. We have designed an immense, heavy timbered, corsair stronghold on top of such a site. With buccaneer inspired architecture, it has a strong character, and deals well with local forces. It is topped by parapet walls with high view turrets. Banners, pennants and flags color mountain gusts, flowing over the rooftop courtyard.
